Our Mission Statement
South Lake Early Learning Centre & OSHC provides all children with a secure, stimulating and nurturing environment, laying the foundations for a lifetime of learning and personal achievement and inner happiness.
We achieve our mission by employing the best staff, by providing them with the highest level of support and equipping them with the best resources available.

Our Children
We acknowledge and value the individuality and diversity of each child and we aim to provide a holistic curriculum and maintain a safe and healthy environment in which to grow. We do this by:
- Caring for each child’s needs and interests;
- Nurturing our children’s wonder by providing a rich environment ready for exploration.
- Providing high quality, culturally relevant, holistic programs;
- Providing opportunities and challenges for children’s learning, development and meaningful social interactions;
- Providing continuity of care and;
- Providing nurturing, responsive and supportive care educators.

Our Families
We acknowledge and value our families, their diversity and individuality and welcome their participation in the Centre. We do this by:
- Respecting the individuality and uniqueness of each family structure;
- Encouraging families to be active participants in the Management Committee;
- Encourage families to share their knowledge and experience and,
- Work collaboratively towards a common goal.

Our Staff
We acknowledge and value our staff. They reflect the values of the Centre and our multiculturalism. We ensure that our staff:
- Have the knowledge, talent, experience, skills and personal attributes essential to further the growth of our children;
- Work as a team to ensure excellence in the holistic approach to curriculum planning, safety and wellbeing of our children.
- Are role models for each other (peers) and children, having a caring attitude, acceptance and respect for each other.
- Promotes learning that respects the environment and encourages sustainable practices
- Respect and appreciates colleagues uniqueness and the contribution each one brings to the team.

Our Management
We acknowledge and value our management team, as they guide the Centre in the achievement of our mission, by meeting the needs of children, staff, families and the wider community.
